Rowupdating not working - Dating webcam adelaide

I have tried to not override in control and instead use delegates like I described in ... Used breakpoints and checked, its showing the same existing values which is there before editing. aspx code protected void Page_Load(object sender, Event Args e) public static User Principal Get User Principal(String user Name) protected void Get Year() protected void Get Month() public void Grd Get Comments() protected void Btn Save_Click(object sender, Event Args e) protected void gv Data_Row Editing(object sender, Grid View Edit Event Args e) protected void gv Data_Row Canceling Edit(object sender, Grid View Cancel Edit Event Args e) protected void gv Data_Row Updating(object sender, Grid View Update Event Args e) public int Updategv Data(In Log DTO b) ALTER PROCEDURE [dbo].[Updategv Data] @Logd In Username nvarchar(50) , @Comments nvarchar(50), @Btn ID int AS Update dbo.

In my custom grid View control I cannot raise the Row Updated event.i thought i had binded it in postback n removed it frm page load but after looking at the code again got to know wat was the mistake....Apologies, I was wrong about that and was thinking of something different - Show Update Button not in the Grid View control because its behaviour (along with Cancel) is automatic based on the Edit button. (I've deleted my comment because it's noise).Storing datatable in View State is not a good practice as it increases the size of your page and reduces the performance, also View State can be deciphered on the client side, so the Data Table is not secure.I removed everything I did with View State and edited the original post again with what I currently got. I cannot sort the Grid View because I'm trying to sort with Your code doesn't have Data Source ID. protected void gv Contact Info_Row Editing(object sender, Grid View Edit Event Args e) protected void gv Contact Info_Row Updating(object sender, Grid View Update Event Args e) protected void gv Contact Info_Row Canceling Edit(object sender, Grid View Cancel Edit Event Args e) Label lbl = ((Label)gv Contact Info. Set a debugger at the beginning of the event fired, walk through it step by step, and see if the value is updating at the spot where you're expecting.

Find Control("lbl Conta‌ctidno")); String Contact ID=lbl. Text; Drop Down List ddl = ((Drop Down List)gv Contact Info. You should use A debugger can not only help you check if you are getting the correct value, it can also allow to walk through the steps.

EDIT You are reading the existing values of your control using the Find Control method in the Row_Updating event.

The problem is that your new values hasn't been updated yet and it's in the process to do so. Both old & New values are stored in the event Grid View Update Event Args as key/value pair. The code I have suggested here is to read the value for your label only.

Here its mentioned that th line should be like this: txt Symbol = ((Text Box)(gv.

Find Control("Text Box1"))); All this coded thing is not working.

check if you're getting the new value for it or not as it's based on the assumption that the label is the first control in the grid.
